Call You and Yours: What have you done to stay healthy?

You and Yours

Available for over a year

Today on 'Call You and Yours' we're asking - What have you done to take responsibility for your own health? The Health Secretary says we need to do more to lead a healthy lifestyle, taking more exercise, stopping smoking and cutting back on alcohol and junk food. Matt Hancock says doing so could increase our life expectancy by five years. At the moment about £97 billion is spent on treating disease but only £8 billion on prevention. He says the focus needs to shift away from hospital care and to primary care like GPs and community health centres. So what are you doing about your own health?
