Lydia Wilson on her latest role as Matilda in the new BBC thriller series - Requiem. Known for roles in Black Mirror, Star Trek: Beyond and on the West End stage she tells us the importance to her of putting women front and centre of drama. 12% of children aged 11-15 gambled in the last week according to Heather Wardle, assistant professor at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and Head of the Gambling and Place Research Hub at data consultancy Geofutures. She says this makes gambling a more common risky behaviour for children than smoking or drinking. She joins Jane to talk about how children are getting drawn in, how they are funding their habits, how parents can spot hidden gambling such as skin-betting and what parents can do to support their children. How to cheer up the mid-winter blues... Emma Mitchell has written 'Making Winter': a creative guide for surviving the winter months.
