Boxing Day sales figures are out. A survey commissioned by You & Yours has revealed that the traditional post-Christmas spending spree is being eroded by the Black Friday sales in November. Fifty six per cent said the Boxing Day sales have lost their appeal. Today we look at what we actually spent. Antiques dealers are making a last-minute attempt to talk the government out of a blanket ban on all sales of ivory. We discuss the government consultation that ends this week.
