Available for over a year
Nurseries in England are warning that local councils are failing to provide enough money to fund an increase in free childcare for three and four year olds. From September, children will be eligible for up to thirty hours a week - if both parents are in work, and don't earn more than a £100,000. However the National Day Nurseries Association says a Freedom of Information request shows that most nurseries won't be able to afford to provide the extra hours. The Government says it's putting an extra six billion pounds into early years care. And If you have been asked to pay new additional charges for nappies, food, or anything else as part of your childcare package, Money Box Live would like to hear from you.
