Some of our biggest High Street brands have blamed a hot September for poor sales. With the weather on the turn once again, Peter White asks is it time that fashion retailers got better at weathering the British weather? Playlists on streaming websites have become a power player in popular music. The biggest playlists have millions of followers and a prized spot on them could help a musician break into the mainstream. Rebecca Maxted speaks to music industry insiders, including the band Blossoms, about how important they are and playlister Dominic Wallace explains how he puts them together for Deezer. The Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner wants to make fraud against the elderly into a hate crime and is piloting a scheme in her local area. She's enlisted the help of an Elders' Commission to report on their experiences and concerns about scams and fraud who tell You & Yours what they've found out. And there's growing discontent among students about the price of rent they have to pay for their university accommodation. The National Union of Students say that the cost of living in purpose-built student accommodation has risen by 18% in three years.
