The latest annual figures from The Tavistock Clinic, the country's only gender identity clinic for under-18s, reveal surprising statistics. Reporter Jenny Kleeman talks to Consultant Clinical Psychologists Dr Polly Carmichael and Dr Bernadette Wren, and to Sasha, who received treatment from the Tavistock clinic in his teens. Cardiff born artist Gwenno on mixing electronic synth pop with Welsh and Cornish lyrics and her sci-fi inspiration. Almost a quarter of children referred to specialist mental health services get turned away and some wait up to two and a half years to be seen, according to a report from the think tank Centre Forum.
