They were promised high returns and easy exit routes, but these have not materialised. Quentin Willson tells Shari Vahl he now wants to disassociate himself from the company, and has asked it to remove his images from their marketing. Hundreds of people who experienced problems with their Cavity Wall Insulation and then had trouble getting it put right have been let down by the organisation that was supposed to guarantee them. A review carried out on behalf of the Cavity Wall Insulation Guarantee Agency (CIGA) has revealed reports were routinely kept away from customers, pathways to resolution were confusing and unclear, and many stakeholders have questioned the diversity of board members.
