Philip Dodd in extended conversation with the actor Antony Sher whose recent roles include Willy Loman and Falstaff. Sher has just published his account of playing Falstaff in Gregory Doran's 2014 RSC production of the two parts of Henry IV - Year of the Fat Knight: The Falstaff Diaries. Another RSC production, Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman, also directed by Doran, is about to transfer from Stratford to the Noel Coward Theatre in London, with Sher in the role of Willy Loman.
