Peter White is joined by Dr Fred Reid to reflect on the comparisons between the social and educational changes which have occurred in the lives of blind people, since the start of World War I. Tom Walker talks to Blind Veteran's UK archivist Robert Baker about the history of the charity and also to veteran Joe Cousineau, who was blinded in 2000, about the way the charity has helped rehabilitate him.
