Following the recent riot at Britain's largest prison, in which around 20 prisoners caused damage to cells and prison property, Hannah Barnes investigates what caused it. The Report speaks to those who have spent time at the prison, both as inmates and staff, and asks why there have been so many challenges in less than two years. The programme explores the changes taking place across the prison estate, and examines whether the most recent incident at HMP Oakwood is a sign of wider problems facing the UK prison estate.
