Spring is a time of great activity at the Larchfield Community village. Food is at the heart of community life - Larchfield is a biodynamic livestock farm, with on site butchery, bakery and gardens. But Larchfield is also home to a community where adults with special needs, and those without, live in family groups and work on the land to produce the food that helps sustain not only Larchfield but the wider community of Middlesbrough and North Yorkshire beyond. Sheila Dillon visits the community while lambing is underway and school visits are in full swing to celebrate the return of Spring, and joins in the preparations for their Easter celebrations.
