Shrewsbury Town pitch The Gay Meadow has been home to the Shrews for almost a century, although everyone's looking forward to the move to a new stadium.
The 8,000 capacity ground is one of the most picturesque in the country, with the River Severn flowing just behind the Riverside Stand and the town centre on the other side of the river beyond. The river, of course, has been known to flow through the ground on occasions, rather than just next to it!
Away fans are allocated space in the Station End to the right of the Riverside, while the family area and the seated sections are located in the main stand. The remaining stand is called the Wakeman.
