| Not much can be said about this film considering that the screenplay has been repeated hundreds of times in past Hindi films. The basic storyline is about two boys falling in love with the same girl. They try to outdo each other while the girl decides who loves her most. The only difference in Aashiq Banaya Aapne is the film appears more daring by Indian standards of filmmaking- we get to see more scenes of an adult nature than what we have observed in past Hindi flicks. Emraan Hashmi plays the lead role and gets the chance to reveal all in the bedroom too! After all, he has had plenty of experienced in doing similar scenes in films like Murder with Mallika Sherawat and Zeher with Udita Goswami, both of which had terrific storylines. So in Aashiq Banaya Aapne, Emraan Hashmi certainly does not disappoint his fans. As for Tanushree Dutta, she makes her Bollywood debut with grace in this film whilst Sonu Sood 's sober characterization does not allow him to show his full acting potential. Not much can be said about Himesh Reshamiya's musical score either. On the whole, my advice is to watch this when it releases on video if you are an Emraan Hashmi fan, otherwise give this one a miss.
