Making the unmissable, unmissable! Tina discovered Jamie hadn't been home all night and then found out he'd failed his exams. Meanwhile, word of Iona's late-night encounter was spreading and Tina was bemused by people's behaviour towards her. Eventually she found out her son had been arrested and was raging when she got hold of him!
He wouldn't tell her what happened so she dragged him over to see Iona, only to find out there was a restraining order in operation! Iona said he'd scared her but Tina accused her of leading him on.
Archie snaked over to the Hunters and offered his legal services, and Tina was stunned to hear that Jamie could be put on the sex offenders register for trying to attack Iona! With Ruth's help, the gossips started to turn their attention to flirty Iona.
After a chat with Nicki, Iona started to doubt involving the police. She knows Jamie's not a bad lad but he scared her.
Archie explained to the Hunters that he'd drag Iona's name through the mud in order to defend him. Jamie hated that! He plotted to run away but, amazingly, it was Paul who talked him out of it.
Jamie took decisive action - he stormed into the Tall Ship, interrupting a slanging match between Iona and Ruth, and made an impassioned speech. He totally blamed himself and explained to everyone that Iona was innocent.
Archie put pressure on Liz to attend some annual networking do with him. He was determined to advance his career and thought Liz would step into her role as doting mother for another year.
However, he didn't bank on her finding some strength. He was really nasty to her and she refused to go! Malcolm did his bit to boost her self-confidence and helped her form a new writers' group.
Jo left Ruth baby-sitting whilst she set her sights on Ewan again. He was distracted as he planned the launch night for Montego Heights and she didn't like being left in second place.
Heather warned her he was trouble and she was right - he stood her up, messed her about, and was far more interested in his mystery phone calls! That man must be a real charmer though cos he wormed his way back into Jo's good books.
Scott was upset when he discovered Manu had taken on a job for Lenny, and confided in him about Eddie. The pair forgot about work and started drinking. One thing led to another and they ended up in bed!
It was awkward the next day and Scott did his best to hide from the situation. He admitted to Gina that he really likes Manu but it was complicated... Manu eventually convinced him not to panic and just let their relationship happen in its own good time.
