Bob's presence at his mum's was frustrating Jimmy. He managed to persuade Bob to make himself scarce for the evening whilst he and Scarlett enjoyed some time on their own. Unfortunately it didn't last long cos Bob interrupted them starting to get a bit, er, intimate. What with them and Deek convinced that he's on to a sure thing with Iona, Bob felt like a spare part. Iona, of course, was using Deek to stop Jamie sniffing about but that message wasn't really getting through to either of her admirers.

Deek was determined to help his buddy and offered him a place to stay. The pair somehow managed to persuade Zoe that it was a goer and Jimmy was delighted!

Manu asked Scott to help him butter up some clients, and was delighted when Scott's work closed a deal. Scott was taken aback when Manu admitted he thought Scott was gay when he first met him and fancied him! Scott didn't set him straight but admitted to Ruth that he didn't know what to do. Manu got angry when he saw him talking to a guy in the pub and assumed he must be messing Ruth about.

Ewan felt he was being lumbered with a load of paperwork and was frustrated that Lenny wouldn't let him wreak revenge upon McLaverty. His dad assured him everything was in hand.

Meanwhile, Zoe was in two minds about accepting Lenny's financial assistance cos Rory didn't think it was the right thing to do. Rory told his dad that Zoe doesn't need his money and was told in no uncertain terms that HE wouldn't have any money or life without Lenny's support. Rory and Zoe argued but she agreed to Lenny's offer.

Liz tried to tell Archie he should get out of Shieldinch for a bit - she was worried he was up to no good. However, he was adamant that all was well and he soon popped up in Lenny's office! He'd got a new job as Lenny's lawyer but that didn't go down well with Ewan. Lenny sang Archie's praises when he wangled one of his dodgy mates a 'get out of jail free' card but it was Ewan who won his dad's appreciation at the end of the day. Lenny appointed him the project manager for Montego Heights! Ewan got straight on the phone and made his second mystery call of the day, announcing he had Lenny right where he wants him!

Sharon was back at work but Eileen didn't make it easy for her by changing the menus at the last minute. Sharon got stressed out and Raymond, as usual, tried to help. However, when he found her in tears she told him her gran had died, and even Eileen was silenced. Raymond offered to go to Spain with her for the funeral but she said she'd be fine on her own. So, instead, Raymond offered to pay for her flights... and then a bit of emergency money on top of that. However, when Sharon jumped into her taxi she made a phone call that proved she's heading off for a fun weekend in the sun! And Raymond doesn't have a clue...
