Making the unmissable, unmissable! We returned to court to watch Archie get his comeuppance. Well, that's what we hoped for. When Gina was manhandled out of court, she was full of apologies as she was reunited with her family, and Archie showed his true colours by being abusive to Gina and Liz for making his case more difficult. However, his lawyer used everything to his advantage and the judge decided there wasn't enough evidence and let Archie walk free!
Gina was furious with Liz for keeping his secret and chucked out all of the Buchanans' belongings. Liz was distraught but Gina refused to listen to her pleas. Archie, of course, knows what happened to him the night he disappeared and he wasted no time in threatening Eileen and Gina. He didn't get away with it though! Gina led him to the pub for a talk, and made it clear he doesn't hold all the aces. He doesn't have enough to go to the police with and he'd show he's got his memory back. He was taken aback by her new strength and he was barred from the Tall Ship!
Liz had a chat with Malcolm - he seemed to understand why she'd supported her son but had to side with Gina. Archie, meanwhile, was getting blootered in Versus and showed no remorse when he bumped into his mother. Liz wandered off into the night, feeling very alone.
Nicki tried to talk to Zoe about Jamie but it was Ruth who found time to speak to her. As soon as she heard Iona mentioned, she mentioned her affair with Marty and poisoned Nicki's mind against women who sleep with other women's husbands. Knowing Zoe had also slept with Marty, this put Nicki in a bad mood with her sister.
Iona tried to find out why Nicki and Jamie had split up and he kept going on about how immature his girlfriend was. The truth came out when Nicki yelled at Iona, calling her the Montego Maneater and accusing her of stealing Jamie. Iona tried to set her straight but was appalled when she realised Jamie believed they had some sort of relationship!
Sharon was jealous by the closeness between Raymond and his ex-wife, Eileen, especially when he comforted her about Archie. Determined to get her man's attention, she faked an accident in the kitchen and let him fuss over her sore wrist. Eileen was not impressed!
Zoe had a go at Deek for letting Bob stay and, knowing he wasn't wanted, Bob moved back to his mum's. Back from their honeymoon, Scarlett and Jimmy were delighted to see him back where he belongs.
Reluctantly, Lydia gave Amber a second chance to work at Hola but she quickly upped sticks and applied for a job at Moda Vida! Watching her daughter working for Viv, Lydia was amused and surprised to see her sticking to the rules. However, Shirley came back from her break in Millport and was furious to find Amber working in her salon! In her eyes (and everyone else's, to be fair), Amber's just a troublemaker and she was promptly sacked. Ewan rose to the challenge and threatened Shirley in order to get his sister's job back. Shirley gave as good as she got though. Viv was determined to give Amber a chance but it was Lydia who finally persuaded Shirley to keep her on. Amber was delighted... but Ewan wasn't chuffed at being beaten by his step-mum.
