Ruth bumped into Zoe and snapped at her but immediately apologised and blamed it on hormones. Zoe looked shaken up but she doesn't know that Ruth knows her secret. Scott was psyching himself up for his job interview in London but assured Ruth he'd cancel if she needed him. He was pretty shocked by her behaviour towards Zoe but when she told him about the syphilis, that Marty had slept with prostitutes and one of them was right on her doorstep, he put two and two together. Ruth insists that Zoe must've been in a bad situation to have turned to prostitution and isn't out for revenge.

Lydia invited Rory and Zoe to dinner but Rory tried to get out of it and caused a fight between him and Zoe. He was worried that his dad would embarrass him. Eventually he changed his mind and they went for a Murdoch family dinner. Lenny insisted on telling embarrassing stories but everyone got on great... everyone except Amber. She'd been drinking with Nicki earlier in the day (causing more tension with Jamie) and spiked her own soft drink with vodka at the dinner table. Lydia was furious when her daughter fell over, drunk!

Harry tried to talk to Whiteside about some missing evidence in Eddie's file. Whiteside, as usual, was condescending and difficult. He ran to Hobbs to complain about Harry's behaviour but got nowhere. He panicked as Harry prepared to question Lenny about Whiteside's position as his alibi. Lenny held his own but they're not happy that Harry's sniffing about.

Douglas told Gina he was going to move out as the tension between them got worse. He found a place to stay but had to ask Eileen if he could borrow some money for a deposit. He reckoned she hates him enough to want him out of her sister's life. He was right. Gina was furious and begged him to stay. Eventually she told him why she wants him to stay - she has feelings for him too. Then they snogged!!
