Sonny was delighted to celebrate St. Andrews Day but was shocked to find his Scottish friends unenthusiastic. Surely it's like Thanksgiving?! Erm, nope. Undeterred, he got dolled up in a kilt, made a big Scottish breakfast and persuaded Raymond to put on a last-minute commemorative bash at the Tall Ship. It was a roaring success!
Kelly-Marie was devastated to have had to give up her job at Hola, especially as money was becoming tight in the family home. Kelly took her fancy dress back to Lydia's and was pleasantly surprised when she was told she could keep it for free... she could also have her job back if she wanted it. Unfortunately the ladies' friendship can't really get off the ground cos Scarlett took her war against Lydia up a step - she started picketing outside the boutique, urging the mobsters out of town and handed out leaflets, asking folk to boycott the place. Lydia was stunned but turned the tables when she offered folk a 30% discount if they had one of Scarlett's leaflets. Determined not to be beaten, Scarlett used an opportunity in the pub to very publicly badmouth the Murdochs. However, Lydia countered that attack by putting a wad of cash behind the bar - she obviously knows just how to win round the Shieldinch locals!
Amber made it her mission to get Nicki and Jamie together. She created a sneaky diversion and stole Shirley's keys from her bag so they could let themselves into Billy's flat where they started making plans for that night's seduction. Amber had grand ideas - hot pants, suspenders, a little gold thong - all of which shocked wee Nicki! Meanwhile, Jamie confided in Scott and got the most important piece of sex advice - take yer socks off before yer trousers. Jamie's own male grooming regime was a sight to behold as he danced around his home, preparing for his big night.
They were both incredibly nervous but eventually got smoochy... and who knows where that would've led if Amber hadn't burst in to Billy's with a ton of friends in tow. The amorous pair were angry but Amber was up for a party and their mood was ruined. More than that was ruined as the party got going but it came to an abrupt end - a neighbour had alerted Shirley to the noise and turned up to find a raucous mess. She was raging!
