Hello everyone, it's been a while, I have been off working on another project - organising the BBC Scotland Learning's stand at this year's Scottish Learning Festival to be held in the SECC in Glasgow on 24th and 25th September - hope you will stop by if you are there to say hello. We have some lovely goodies to give away and you can find out all about our new content - including the new Scotland's History portal and the Bitesize sites which are getting a makeover!
I am back working on China Stories for a few days and I thought I would give you a sneak preview of how the new part of the site China Video Stories will look. It is gorgeous, all neon like China's big cities at night, and the best part is you finally get to see the videos our team filmed when they were out in China!
We are all very excited as we are the first site in BBC Scotland to use the brand new Embedded Media Player (EMP) for the video clips. Now what you are saying is so exciting about that… Well let me tell you! The EMP is a great new gizmo that will let you play with the clips, link to them from your social network site or share them with your friends. The latest verison of the EMP will even let you put them on your own blog!
China Video Stories is a fab addition to the site so watch out for it coming to a computer near you soon!
