Beijing Buffet.

Not too much to report today. We were up early to catch our flight back to Beijing where we spent one last night.

We met up with the crew and our government minder for one last meal. We went to the biggest most bizarre restaurant I have ever been to. It was a huge buffet with dishes from around the world. You paid a fee and then ate and drank as much as you liked. This place is enormous. Truly huge. Think about a really big place and then double the size. That's how big it was.

Finally it was time to say goodbye to everyone. It was really sad as we have all come to know each other really well. JP, Dave and George have taught us so much about China. I'm going to miss them.

Hello again, just thought I'd let you know how much I'm learning on this project. Before I started on this site I'd never resized an image, used Avid Newscutter or uploaded to the site an image or text - which is exactly what my new challenge is!

Flora is going to show me how to upload to the site as she's going on holiday in a few weeks time and it will be up to me to keep this site updated for you. I've had to get all sorts of permissions for all sorts of folders which I now have - the only permission I don't have yet is for the live folder - I think I'll have to have a practice first before they let me loose in that one!

The world of the coder has always been a strange and mysterious place for me so I'm very excited to be getting the key to be able to go in and explore!

I'm really enjoying learning all these new skills, the days are flying in!
