Must have been something I ate

On a recent trip to foreign parts, I was intrigued by the culinary offerings in a local hostelry - but not that intrigued. Anyone with similar experiences they'd care to share?

Neep Right On To The End Of The Road
Posted: Sunday, 08 July 2007 |
Well it's taken me the best part of a week to recover from last weekends festivities. I think ardont's blog summarises (in words) last Saturday's rip roaring success of a day so I'll not bore you with more of the same. We were however very fortunate in as much as Ruthodanort attended wir day as official events photographer. A huge thanks to everyone who attended and helped out on the day, you were and are all great. I hope you enjoy the images and we look forward to seeing you in Trondra next year

The Time Has Come
Posted: Tuesday, 15 May 2007 |
The time is well and truly here to put Trondra officially on the Island Blogging Map. I've enjoyed reading bloggs from my island neighbours for some time now but have thus far failed to contribute myself in any shape or form. That my friends, is something I now plan to change. Now I'm not saying that life on Trondra is uneventful, oh no, nothing could be further from the truth, but up until now, it's been a case of what happens in Trondra, stays in Trondra (eh boys and girls)?? So, I hear you say, what's happened to inspire diamondbigdod to move from "voyeur" to "active participant" so to speak? Da Peerie Neep, that's my inspiration.
A group of highly motivated, unbelievably imaginative not to mention rather gorgeous individuals have embarked on putting together a community event which we hope will be remembered and talked about for generations to come (for at least some of the right reasons). Da Peerie Neep will take place in Trondra on 30 June 2007 and is being billed as a Community Mid Summer Foy. A number of great ideas have already been discussed which will help ensure it's a great day out for all the family. The theme for the day is not surprisingly the humble neep. Now, here's the bit where you get the chance to become an "active participant". I'd love to hear your ideas and suggestions, through these pages, on how we can ensure the day goes with a bang. So don't hold back - if you know of a neep that has that something special which makes it stand out from the rest of the field, tell me about it. If you have visited so many Foys over the years that you've worn your legs down and now need turnips on your jeans - share you experiences.
Go on, tell diamondbigdod all about it, you know you want to!!

Does it matter that I write?
These words fade
into meaninglessness
once written.
