Urgent ....help needed
Posted: Friday, 22 August 2008 |
Hi everyone, I'm hoping that the mainland bloggers can help me. My daughter who has Aspergers Syndrome is desperately worried about her cat, Claude. He's her bestest ever buddie and she is missing him sooooo much. He went missing Saturday night/Sunday morning(16th/17th Aug) and she is getting more and more upset as each day goes by without any news of him. We live in Finstown just by the post office. He is known to go down as far as the shore on the Evie Rd and the houses along there. If anyone has any news good or bad could you please contact me. I have put photo's of him with this blog so hopefully some one will remember him. Thank you so much for your help. e-mail addy dusty.johnstone@gmail.com

I thought I would try my hand again at putting photos on the bloggy bit. I love photography and take loads of pikkies for my card business. And for the cat lovers out there I have included two of my bunch of beauties, my grey boy Skye seems to have some fans, anyway let me know what you think.
Ta ta for now.

I have NEWS!
Posted: Sunday, 08 June 2008 |
G'Day everyone, I thought it was about time I shared some news with you all and caught up with the gossip as I've been off line for ages because both parents havn't been doing to well :( Mum's been in hospital for two months and Dad's not been to chipper either, but hey the good news is my other half has popped the question and I said yes! Soooooo we are getting married next year in August. I have also managed to trace my brother and sister in Australia who I havn't seen for 40 odd years. At last a bit of good news for a change so I thought I would share it with you.
Cheerio for now

Helloooooo Long time no bloggy
Posted: Sunday, 09 March 2008 |
How is everyone? have you survived the silly season known as the New year Sales? I've spent all this time between Christmas and now hibernating and was wondering is it all over yet. I've woken up to dire warnings about the weather and high winds...........nothing new there then. So what's happening with the rest of you, do tell?????
I thought I might try and play around with the widgits and gizzmos and put a pikky up or something........when I can fathom out how it all works!!

How's your Christmas Shopping
Posted: Tuesday, 11 December 2007 |
Hi all, just thought I'd say a few words yet again and see how everyone is doin'. I have to say that once December 1st gets here it sems to be a down hill slide at an ever increasing pace to the 25th! Is anyone else feeling the same, there's just not enough days in December? The kiddies where in fine fettle the other week though singing for the RNLI concert at our local hall and then again the following week for the 'lighting of the Christmas Tree' ceremony. My 9 year old is due to take part in the christmas play at her school tomorrow and is so excited it's a hard job keeping her feet on the floor. I hope your christmas plans are going well, til next time keep well, bye for now.

is there life in Finstoon?
Posted: Saturday, 20 October 2007 |
Hi there, in response to FC's question, I believe there is.........it's something that is remarkable and quite rare. They occasionally show themselves inbetween hiding down the long trenches they have dug for themselves and disappearing into the lairs that have been constucted down the Evie Rd way. They seem to have taken over the junction on the Evie/Finstown road and seem to be intent on burrowing their way along the entire length of the village. I am left wondering if anyone else has seen them making a break for cover and is there some way to control their slow but steady progress, it is causing some concern and upset among us locals, as well as this, we are choking on the fumes being slung out by the happless drivers being forced to stop and wait at the secret signaling system that has been installed.
