more raft race photos

HI there - some flavour of the start of the race. Despite the rammy - the rafts did set sail and disappointingly for those watching there were no capsizers... Joe did have to evacuate ship towards the end and walk home -but that was to avoid coming last - coward!!
We need more entrants from other islands for next years - but hey, we might even make more of an effort to publicise it too!

Great pics! Looks like the raft race was a lot of fun. Wife and I are trying to get across to Gigha soon for a night away from the kids. Organising childcare is a nightmare though. Cheers Gary

I will be coming to Gigha at the weekend. Can someone let me know if we will be able to buy teas and lunches or should we bring our own?. Also any info on what to expect to see and do would be great.
