Using this site should really help increase your knowledge and understanding of the geography of upland limestone areas. There are additional things you can do with the site to make your studying more effective:

• while you work through the site, make notes on paper about things you find tricky or need to remember
• after working through a section, turn away from the computer and test yourself - can you name five features of a limestone landscape?
• write down everything you can remember about, for example,stalactites. Then have another look at the screen and see how well you did

Look at the number of points allocated to each question to help you gauge how much you need to write - if there are two points given, you'll need to make two points in your answer.

If you need to draw a diagram, use a ruler! Make it neat and easily read - and don't forget to label it.

Make sure you read a question thoroughly before you start to answer it. If you're not sure, read it again until you know what the examiner is looking for.

Keep an eye on the clock. Know how many questions you need to answer and work out how long you can spend on each question. Allow yourself time at the end to read through everything you've written and check for mistakes.
