This site is designed to meet the needs of students studying the People and the Environment section of Intermediate 2 Geography. It also takes into account the changes to the Geography curriculum in 2004. About the exam explains more fully how the site matches both the old and new curricula. The site is split into two main sections; one dealing with rivers, the other with coasts. Each of these contains two case studies. The areas covered are: The Rhine The Danube The Camargue The Costa Dorada Each case study:
The student is also given the opportunity to compare the two case studies within each section to see how similar environments can have different problems. Further resources This site is part of an integrated resource package and is accompanied by two television programmes.
