This week Dame Diana Rigg takes to the stage at Wyndham’s theatre in London for the opening night of Honour. She plays the wronged wife in a play about a marriage that breaks up after 32 years, and the consequences for the husband, wife, daughter and 'the other woman'.
Dame Diana's recent stage roles - in Medea, Mother Courage, and as Martha in Who’s Afraid Of Virginia Woolf are a far cry from the TV role that turned her into an icon and sex symbol of the 60s – as cat-suited, karate-kicking Emma Peel in The Avengers.
Martha talks with Dame Diana about her life and career.
Honour is at Wyndham's Theatre, London from 14 February to 25 February
