A community based project

Earlier this year six women from South London who'd been involved in prostitution, put on a play based on their experiences. It came about as part of a Young Vic Theatre project to give everyone living in Lambeth or Southwark the chance to see a theatre production for free.

After being inspired by their trips to the theatre the women from the group, called Rise, wrote and performed their own show. It was called "Can You See Me?". Anna Raphael went along to the final performance.
