Nichola Mcauliffe16 Dec 2005
On her latest role in The Night of the Iguana

Nichola Mcauliffe is probably best known as Sheila Sabatini in the comedy, Surgical Spirit, and for her flirtation with Ken Barlow in Coronation Street.

She's also been nominated for an Olivier award for her role in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and is now playing Miss Fellows in Tennessee Williams' The Night of the Iguana which has just opened in London's West End.

The setting is Mexico, 1940 - an alcoholic defrocked priest, played by Woody Harrelson, is working as a tour guide. He comes up against the formidable Miss Fellows who's in charge of a group of Baptists.

Nichola joins Martha to talk about her latest role.

The Night of the Iguana is on at the Lyric Theatre, London until 25 March
