Sarah Lancashire has become a household name for her starring roles in TV dramas such as Rose and Maloney and The Rotter’s Club – and of course the part that shot her to fame, Raquel in Coronation Street. Her latest job takes her to London’s West End. Sarah tells Martha about playing nightclub hostess, Miss Adelaide, in the hit musical Guys and Dolls – her first stage role for 13 years.
