The actress talks about her new role

Diana Quick made her name playing Julia Flyte in the 1982 series Brideshead revisited. Since then she has stared in countless plays, films and TV programmes.

Diana Quick will join Jenni to talk about her latest role in You Never Can Tell by George Bernard Shaw in which she plays Mrs Clandon, a woman who returns to England with her 3 children after 18 years abroad, and bumps into the father they abandoned.

She also discusses her forthcoming book Waiting for Dr Quick, which charts the progress of her family who settled in India in 1857.

And we might just ponder what it's like to be married to a man for years who suddenly turns into every woman's romantic dream in middle age: she's Mrs Bill Nighy.
