The Pendle Witches: A new play about Britains's most notorious witchcraft trial
If you've lived in the north west of England chances are you've heard of the Pendle Witches - seven women and two men executed in the country's most notorious witchcraft trial. But outside the immediate Lancashire area their story is less well known.
Now a new play called 'Cold Light Singing' has been written by Yvonne Pinnington, inspired by their story.
