On her obsession with Mae West

A new play opens this week in London which has already taken Broadway by storm and been nominated for five Tony Awards. Dirty Blonde takes its title and its inspiration from Mae West who once said, 'I made myself platinum, but I was born a dirty blonde.'

Claudia Shear, author and star of the play, talks about her obsession with Mae West.

Dirty Blonde is at the Duke of York's Theatre, London until 28 August
