Australian Sue Broadway has the perfect pedigree for presenting a tribute to Vaudeville. Her grandfather, Alf Broadway, was a well-known vaudeville performer during the 1930s.
Her Eccentric Acts show at the Edinburgh Festival is inspired by Sue's own upbringing. The show is a blend of side-crack style comedy, circus skills, characterisations, outrageous costumes and original footage of famous vaudevillian stars. She joins Sheila to talk about the eccentric acts for which her family were famous.
