Sporting Couples 2Tuesday 11 June 2002
In just under two months time the Commonwealth Games will open in Manchester. It's a stressful time for athletes as they emerge from winter training and start competing again.

Earlier in the year we heard from Margot and Allan Wells about the strain of having a relationship and working together on the track. Margot coached her husband to gold at the 1980 Olympics, but admits that it placed huge pressure on their marriage.
It's a pressure the Commonwealth hopeful Shelley Drew knows only too well. Drew is Britain's leading discus-thrower and is coached by her husband Lee Newman. Philippa Budgen went to a training session.
