Sporting Couples 1Monday 22 April 2002
Teaching a loved one to drive can be difficult enough, and working full-time with your partner can put a relationship under even more strain. But imagine being an international athlete whose hopes are pinned on a medal and you're coached or managed by your partner.

One of the best known partnerships on the track has to be the Olympic sprinter Allan Wells and his wife Margot. She was a world-class sprinter before she gave it up to concentrate on his career, coaching Allan for ten years.
Philippa Budgen visits the Wells' to find out how they combined sport and marriage.
