What form of higher education will produce the right workforce?
The numbers going to university are rising and the demand for places keeps going up. But is university really the best choice for so many young people? Average debt of the current intake in England is expected to be around £23,000, and graduate unemployment increased by 44% last year. And employers frequently complain they can’t recruit a workforce with the right skills. So how should higher education develop?
