Janie Dee plays poet Joy Gresham in Shadowlands.

From the cross channel swimmer Edythe Herbert in “My One and Only” to her multi-award winning portrayal of an android in “Comic Potential”, Janie Dee is no stranger to theatrical acclaim. She talks to Jane about her latest role as Joy Gresham in the first major revival of ‘Shadowlands’. The play tells the true story of the love affair between the American poet and the author C.S. Lewis.

Shadowlands opened on Monday 8th Oct 2007 at the Wyndham Theatre for a limited eleven week season. Mon – Sat 7.30pm, Thurs and Sat matinees at 2.30pm. Tickets £10-£45. Box office 0870 950 0925.
