 | | | | | I think what makes Straw Poll distinctive is the variety of ways in which the Radio 4 listeners can participate. Members of the audience at the programme can interact with the panellists and vote at the end. The nationwide telephone vote - and thousands have been prepared to spend 10 pence to register their view - is highly impressive. And, of course, those who e-mail us, use the message board and call the Straw Poll Talkback phone-in, have their own opportunities to make their positions known.
