In Vietnam story:pt 1, feisty Margie, a senior citizen of St Louis, Missouri, USA, talked about how she formed an unlikely friendship with a Vietnamese student, ten years ago.
They embarked on a lively exchange of letters, and after a bit of a bureaucratic to-do, Dyuen ended up coming to the States to live with Margie and her husband Hank. Their two daughters also welcomed Dyuen into the family home.
Kim Normanton met Margie and Dyuen in Margie's kitchen.
