Helen Mark learns about the Marine Bill at Jacob's Ladder Beach in Sidmouth
Jacob's Ladder Beach in Sidmouth is one of the cleanest beaches in the country. Helen Mark visits it to find out more about the Marine Bill which is designed to protect the sea and the wildlife which lives in it. Helen goes fishing in rock-pools with James Chubb, an Education Ranger from East Devon District Council. James also cooks the mussels, cockles and prawns they catch for lunch. On a rainy day, Tom Griffiths comes to the rescue with the loan of his beach hut - and Chris Davis from Natural England explains what the Bill is and how it would work.
