WENDY WASON Wendy Wason is the stand-up comedienne and actress. She has recently performed in the US where she took part in NBC's Last Comic Standing and reached the grand final of the Babycham Funny Women competition at The Comedy Store. She is making her debut at this year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival in her first solo show Things I Didn’t Know I Didn’t Know at the Gilded Balloon Teviot from 31st July until 25th August (not 12th).
MARK BORKOWSKI Mark Borkowski is founder and head of Borkowski PR. The agency are consultants to the likes of Led Zeppelin, Van Morrison and Noel Edmonds and global blue chip brands including IKEA, Cadbury and Sony. His new book The Fame Formula looks at the history of the publicist from Vaudeville to the present day. The Fame Formula: How Hollywood's Fixers, Fakers and Star Makers Created the Celebrity Industry is published by Sidgwick & Jackson.
VICKY JACK Vicky Jack was in her late forties befor she began her record-breaking climbs of the Seven Summits in seven years. At the same time she pursued her career as an executive director in both private and public sector organisations. She is also a motivational speaker. The writer Anna Magnusson has written Vicky's story in The Sky's the Limit published by Black and White Publishing.
ANGELA HARTNETT Angela Hartnett was Britain's first female Michelin starred chef. She has worked with many of the top chefs including Marcus Wareing and Gordon Ramsay and at some of the finest restaurants in the UK and around the world including Zafferano, Petrus and The Connaught. She is about to launch a new restaurant Murano in London’s Mayfair and is also Chair of judges for BBC Radio 4's Food and Farming Awards. Murano by Angela Hartnett will open on 21st August at 20-22 Queen Street, London W1.
