ALISTAIR MCGOWAN Alistair McGowan is probably best known to British audiences as the celebrity impersonator of TV's 'Big Impression', in which he won a BAFTA. He has also worked extensively in theatre with starring roles in Endgame, Art, Little Shop of Horrors and most recently The Mikado. He is making his directorial debut in a production of Noel Coward's classic comedy Semi-Monde at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama from 7th to 10th April.
HUGH MILES Hugh Miles is a journalist. In his book Playing Cards in Cairo he tells of how he meets and falls in love with Roda, a beautiful doctor, whilst working in Cairo. She introduces him to Egypt's favourite pastime, the card game tarneeb, to her all-female card circle, and to a previously unseen side of life in Cairo. Playing Cards in Cairo: Mint Tea, Tarneeb and Tales of the City is published by Abacus.
DOREMY VERNON Doremy Vernon is a former Tiller Girl and actor.
