How can I join the Have Your Cake Club? The Have Your Cake Club is a group on flickr where anyone registered on flickr can add pictures of their cakes - and come to see everyone else's.
To join the group, first register on flickr and follow the 'Create Your Account' link. Registering is quick, free and easy to do.
Once you have registered and signed in, go to the Have Your Cake Club page and click on the ‘Join This Group’ link. How can I contribute pictures to the group? Upload your photos of your cakes to flickr – the uploading tool is really easy to use. Find instructions and tips on how to do this here.
Open up the photo page. Click on the icon that says ‘Send to Group’ – you will find this between the title and the top of the picture.
Once your photo has been approved, it will appear in the group for other members of the group to enjoy. What are you waiting for?
Can I upload other people’s photographs to flickr? No – the photos must have been taken by you, or you must have the permission of the person who took the photograph. Can the BBC use these pictures? By adding your photo to the group, you give us a right to use this on a BBC webpage. If we use one of your photos we will fully attribute you and link back to your Flickr photostream.
