DANIEL HOPE AND GAURAV MAZUMDAR EAST MEETS WEST Violinist Daniel Hope joins Gaurav Mazumdar on the sitar in a record which was inspired by the partnership between Ravi Shankar and Yehudi Menuhin. The album East Meets West incorporates gypsy and flamenco influences, Maurice Ravel's Tzigane and works by Bartok and Schnittke.
