SUCCESSFUL SITCOMS?
What makes a sitcom a success? John Wilson and London Evening Standard comedy critic & writer Bruce Dessau consider this with the return of Dylan Moran and Bill Bailey as down-at-heel booksellers in Black Books, Dawn French and Martin Freeman in two series written by Simon Nye and a new series The Worst Week of My Life.
'Black Books' returns for a 3rd series tonight on Channel 4 at 10pm. 'The Worst Week of My Life' starts tomorrow night on BBC1 at 9pm. 'Wild West' returns tomorrow night on BBC2 at 9.30pm and 'Hardware' returned last Sunday night on ITV.
