THORNTON WILDER
A rare revival of Thornton Wilder's play The Skin of our Teeth has opened at The Young Vic theatre. Mark Lawson is joined by theatre director David Lan and New York Times theatre critic Mel Gussow in investigating the writer who won the Pulitzer prize three times and who launched a quiet revolution in American theatre.

SHORT STORY COMPETITION
To mark World Book Day, Front Row is launching a Short Story Competition: Your challenge is to write the first 100 words of a novel in any genre, such as thriller, romance, chick lit, etc. A survey commissioned for World Book Day has revealed that accountants spend more time reading for pleasure than teachers, MPs, journalists, taxi drivers and vicars, on average 5 ¼ hours per week. Your first 100 words therefore must feature an accountant as a character and include five words from the accounting world: offshore, loophole, savings, spreadsheet, and figure.
