Andreas Whittam-Smith, former President of the BBFC and now First Church Estates Commissioner, joins Front Row to discuss The Passion Of The Christ, Mel Gibson's cinematic chronicle of the last hours of Jesus.

BILL FONTANA
Over the last twenty years, American sound artist Bill Fontana has explored the nature of space, music and technology through a series of major projects in cities around the globe. Now, using the sounds and landscapes of Yorkshire as his inspiration, he has created a sound installation for Leeds City Art Gallery.

Primal Soundings, A Sound Sculpture for Leeds can be heard in Victoria Gardens from March 1 as part of the Fuseleeds Festival

ART AND THE ANTARCTIC
In a discussion of the technical and artistic challenges of working in Antarctica, Front Row is joined by mixed media artist John Kelly and the painter Philip Hughes.

"Due South: Art and the Antarctic", an exhibition of work by John Kelly is at the Natural History Museum until August 1, admission free.
