CRYSTAL PALACE AT SYDENHAM
Today a new exhibition opens at Dulwich Picture Gallery to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the transportation across London of the Crystal Palace from Hyde Park to Sydenham Hill. Architectural writer Jonathan Glancey, and structural engineers Deborah Lazarus and Pat Dallard from global consultants Arup, look at how buildings get shifted from point A to point B - and why.
