Presented by Mark Lawson
EDWARD ALBEE Mark Lawson talks in an extended interview to the American playwright Edward Albee.
More than forty years after the phenomenal success of his play Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, which is now regarded as a modern classic, he's again enjoying critical acclaim for his latest work, The Goat.
On a rare visit to the UK, Edward Albee talks to Mark about his response to critical praise and damnation, on being adopted, and why he prefers to think of his plays as music.
Edward Albee's play The Goat, or Who is Sylvia? is at the Almeida Theatre in London until 13 March
