THE FOURTH GRACE OF LIVERPOOL
Crucial to Liverpool's Capital of Culture 2008 bid is a multi-million pound landmark redevelopment on the banks of the Mersey, incorporating a theatre and art gallery as well as commercial buildings. The so-called Fourth Grace of Liverpool has been put out to an architectural competition, the winner of which was announced today. John Wilson reports.
